The direction of the balance of life sometimes pivots on a small agate.  Arthur was one of those pivotal points that changed people’s lives.  Mine was no exception. 

He took me to full time sports medicine, NZ Olympic team physician, to meeting my wife.  He also changed my philosophy on life that anything is possible.

Arthur, it was an honor to know you.  I’ll miss you greatly and try to have you live on by conveying your spark to the coming generations.

Andrew Ness is a long-time personal friend of Arthur.  He has been a NZ team doctor for Olympic and Commonwealth Games.  His wife, Christy, is a coach of Olympic figure skate champion, Kristi Yamaguchi.
