SESSION 2.5 HOURS
Building Resiliency - Injury Prevention Practices and Comeback
Remember Lorraine’s rule - “You can only go as fast as your slowest part” ?
Athletic Resiliency is increased when one pays attention to the second Lydiard principle of response-regulation - with careful observation of one’s individual response to the training stimulus, niggles and sniffles can be used as valuable feedback for you to make quick correction and comeback, shore up your recovery practices and adjust future training so that you become resilient to injury and illness.
In this session, Gary takes a look at how to troubleshoot common athletic injuries, prevent chronic performance detractors, and what to do when you get so far out of your Goldilocks zone that you need a comeback plan.
